Sugar Grove Stars & Stripes Festival Annual Cruise-In
The Stars and Stripes in Sugar Grove is a community event by the Berne Union Music Boosters. This festival helps raise some much-needed funds to operate the award-winning music programs at Berne Union School. The two-day event consists of a spectacular car show, open mic karaoke, a pie baking contest, free face painting and balloon art, live music, delicious food, local vendors, and more.
On the second night, the event ends with The Sugar Grove Fireworks Spectacular. This year’s festival was held from June 24th to June 25th – with Friday’s theme being Family Day and Duck Drawing Day; Saturday was Fireworks Day. Until next year, Sugar Grove!
Earth Angel Super Cruise, Ohio
The Earth Angel Foundation held its annual Super Cruise-In on Saturday, June 18th. Located at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds, this year marked the event’s 35th anniversary and is open to cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Starting at 9 am, attendees can spend their day enjoying a car show, door prizes, a live auction, a 50/50 drawing, and an engine auction. With plenty of local craft and food vendors, the Earth Angel Super Cruise brings lots of joy to the community while raising funds to serve the children of Ohio.
Originally based out of Circleville, the Earth Angel Foundation was created to send children with terminal or life-threatening illnesses and their families on dream getaways. Since 1987, the foundation has allowed these children and their families to have fun, relax, and smile.
The foundation has sent over 200 families on dream vacations throughout the United States. With the help of many volunteers and the generous support of sponsors, the community comes together to make this possible. We hope to see you at the next Earth Angel Super Cruise in 2023!
Corvette Club Alliance in Fairfield County, Ohio
Last but not least, the Bill Palmer insurance team is excited for the upcoming Corvette Club Alliance event on Sunday, September 11th, from 7 am to 12 pm at 130 S. Broad St. in Lancaster, Ohio. The Ohio Corvette Club Alliance presents the largest corvette show in the state.
The Sunday car show will be held in the historic downtown area of Lancaster with free admission for attendees, door prizes, auctions, live music, local food vendors, and lots more… We hope to see you there!
